Donation to families in North Melbourne Towers (COVID lockdown)
248 books and 100 bookmarks have been sent to kids in North Melbourne towers in Carlton to help them during COVID lockdown! Included in these boxes are: "Resilience", "You, Me & Empathy", "Talking About Feelings", "Hey There! What's Your Superpower?", and "Let's Talk About Body Boundaries, Consent & Respect". World Vision India - aiming to end child abuse and exploitation with the help of our book!
We have gifted My Body! What I Say Goes! and accompanying activity book to World Vision India, who are working with their National Government on a campaign to end child abuse and exploitation by 2021. They are currently translating this book into 10 Indian languages and will do a print run of 1,500,000 (1 .5 million copies)! As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award endeavours, 16 year-old Kelly Seweryn created and is working on distributing a program to teach children about Empathy, in San Diego (U.S.). We donated copies of our book You, Me & Empathy to go into her program Be Wise - Empathize.

We gifted all of our posters and blog information to the Penang State Government who have developed a 50 page book from it to give away to families for education and awareness of Body Safety issues. UPDATE - APRIL 2018 - the book has now been completed and launched. They have published 10,000 copies (in English), receiving very positive feedback from parents and educators all over Malaysia. Translation into the local languages of Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Tamil are currently in progress. The book was launched on 3rd April 2018 with a simple forum of approx 200 special invited guests...

Coincidentally, Jayneen met Susan at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro while waiting for her daughter to return to base camp. They started talking and she told Jay she taught sexual abuse prevention education to kids. Wow! Serendipity.
