At Act for Kids, we are proud to collaborate with Educate2Empower, integrating their Little Big Chats books into our Learn to be Safe with Emmy and Friends program across early years centres, schools, and family homes. These books, paired with our Learn to be Safe personal safety animations, songs, activities, and resources have proven to be a powerful tool in helping young children grasp tricky concepts in a simple and non-threatening way.
Keeping kids safe takes a community, and we see the characters in Little Big Chats as an extension of Emmy’s friends—working together to support vital safety conversations. The books empower educators and families with the language to start these critical discussions, strengthening relationships and building safer communities.
