Kansas child advocacy group donates hundreds of body education books to elementary schools

Protecting Kansas Children from Sexual Predators, a volunteer-led group in Topeka, ships hundreds of body-safety books to elementary schools across the state.

The group of child sex abuse survivors said they are working to educate the public about increased abuse in communities and advocate for legislative reform that will prevent future child abuse. The book "My Body! What I Say Goes!" by Jayneen Sanders was chosen for donation to elementary schools, according to co-director Tess Ramirez, who said the group will focus first on rural communities that lack child advocacy centers.
