Here at Educate2Empower Publishing, we believe in the power of books to open minds and build bridges. That's why we were so honoured to support the incredible Reading Buddy Program run by Mallard Diversified Services Inc.(MDSI).
MDSI,a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and physical disabilities since 1975, runs a truly special initiative. Twice a week, their clients visit a local elementary school to read one-on-one with Grade 1 students. This program is a beautiful example of community in action, enhancing literacy skills for the children while fostering meaningful connections and promoting a message of inclusivity.
To celebrate the end of the school year, MDSI gifts a book to each student—a lasting reminder of the friendships formed. Educate2Empower Publishing was thrilled to donate 30 copies of 'Included' to this wonderful cause.
We were overjoyed to receive an update from the team at MDSI:
